Weather conditions:  Summer July-August daytime air temperature +18.+24° C (max +34° C), night-time +3.+11° C (ground frost occur). Rains are short and lavish.

Day 1

Arrival to Almaty.Transfer to hotel. City tour (including visit to the National State Museum, Museum of Musical Folk Instruments, Sheber Aul "Artisan Village"). Dinner. Hotel.

Day 2
Drive to Big Almaty Lake - 2 hours. Acclimatization hiking in the surroundings. Camp on the lakeside (2512 m).
Day 3
Trek to the foot of Kel-Almaty Pass, crossing Ozerny River en route - 4 hours. Trek over Kel-Almaty Pass (3503 m) - 2 hours. Camp (3300 m).
Day 4
Descent to the Valley of Chong Kemin River along Kel-Almaty Gorge - 2 hours. Trek to the junction of Aksu and Zhasyk-Kol Rivers - 3 hours.Camp (2995 m).
Day 5
Trek to Jasyl-Kol Lake (2970 m) - 2 hours. Continue trekking to the junction of Western and Eastern Aksu Rivers - 5 hours. Camp (3200 m).
Day 6
Trek upwards along Aksu Glacier over Aksu Pass (4052 m)- 5 hours. Descent to the Valley of Chong-Aksu River - 2 hours. Camp (3150 m).
Day 7
Trek along Chong-Aksu River to the forest meadow - 5 hours. Camp (2600 m).
Day 8 Drive to Issyk-Kul Lake (1608 m) - 2 hours.
Overnight in guest-house on the lakeshore.
Day 9 Morning time at leisure. After lunch drive to Kurmenty Gorge (70km) - 2 hours. Camp (2200 m).
Day 10 Trek up along Kurmenty Gorge. Cross over Kurmenty Pass (3445 m) - 2 hours. Descent to Uyi-Tas Valley - 3 hours. Camp (3350 m).
Day 11 Trek to and cross over Shodo Pass (3420 m) - 1 hour. Descent along Umursak River to Mynzhylki Lake - 4 hours. Camp (2252 m).
Day 12 At lesure. Hiking to Kolsai Lake 2. Camp (2252m).
Day 13 Descent to Kolsai Lake1 (1818 m) - 3 hours. Trek to Kurmenty Village - 2 hours. Camp (1750 m).
Day 14 Drive to Canyons of Charyn River (90 km) - 3 hours. Sightseeing and picnic in the Big Red Canyon.
Drive to Almaty (210 km) - 3 hours. Hotel .
Day 15 Transfer to airport. Fly home.
