Arrive Almaty.
Transfer to hotel. Transfer to Almarasan Gorge. Start
trekking. Ascent along the forest path - 5 hours.
Camp in the forest (2700 m). |

Day 2
|
Ascent along Prokhodnaya River to Almaty
Pass - 5 hours.
Camp on the river bank (3300 m). |

Day 3
|
Cross over Almaty Pass (3599 m) - 3 hours.
Descend to Valley of Chong-Kemin
River - 3 hours.
Camp on the bank of the Tuyuk-Almaty River (2820 m). |

Day 4
|
Trek along the Valley of Chong-Kemin River
to the junction of Aksu and Zhasyk-Kol Rivers - 6 hours.
Camp (2995 m). |

Day 5
|
Trek to Zhasyk-Kol
Lake (2970 m) and passing to junction of Western and
Eastern Aksu Rivers - 5 hours. Camp (3200 m). |

Day 6
|
Trek along Aksu glacier to Aksu
Pass (4052 m) - 3 hours. Cross over the pass - 2 hours.
Descent to Valley of Chong-Aksu River - 2 hours. Camp
(3350 m). |

Day 7
|
Trek along Chong-Aksu River - 5 hours. Transfer
to Issyk Kul Lake (1608m).
Picnic on the lakeshore - 2 hours. Transfer to Almaty
(580 km) - 8 hours. Hotel. |

Transfer to airport. Fly home. |
