This one - week adventure will take you trough the Northern Tien Shan Mountains to the Issyk Kul - the second largest high - altitude saltwater lake on the Planet. Our trekking starts in the forest valley of Almarasan Gorge and follows to the alpine meadows of the Valley of Chong Kemin River. Our route leads over Aksu Pass (4052 m) to the Gorge of Chong Aksu River, where we meet nomads. Here, at the downhill of the valley, we take a vehicle and drive to the lakeshore for half-day swimming. We drive back to Almaty, where our adventure will finish with the farewell party.
