Day 1

Arrive Almaty Transfer
to hotel. |

Day 2
|
City tour (including visit to the National
Museum - 3 hours. Transfer to Aul 25 km - 40 min. Aul style
program includes (4 hours): traditional Kazakh dinner in the
jurt, traditional Kazakh horse games:
- "Kokpar" The horse-riders
of the two teams try to snatch the goat's carcass
and bring it to their half of the field outside the
special line. The more times the team brings the goat's
carcass outside the special line the more points the
team will get.
- "Kyz kuu" The horseman tries to catch the girl galloping away at full speed at the distance of 200m. If the horseman succeeds to do that he has the right to kiss her. If he fails to do that then the girl tries to catch galloping away loser and whipped him.
- "Audyryspak" Two wrestling horseman tries to push out each other off the saddle.
- "Kumys-alu" "Kumys-alu" Galloping horseman tries to pick up silver coins scattered on the earth. The picked up coins will be the prize for the dexterous rider.
- "Tai-baiga" "Tai-baiga" Horse-race at the distance of 2 km. Horse exercising of the
best local Asian breed: Ahal-tekinsky, Arabian, English,
trotter and local horses. VTransfer to Almaty - 40 min.

Day 3
|
Transfer to the Canyons of Charyn River
(210 km) - 3 hours. Sightseeing of the Big Red Canyon. Transfer
to Base Camp Karkara (100 km) - 2 hours. Accommodation in Camp
(2200 m). |

Day 4
|
4 Horse selection and ammunition. Start riding up along the
valley of the Karkara River and then along the alpine meadows
to the Chon-Zhalanch Gorge. Camp on the confluence of the rivers
Chon-Zhalanch and Kichine-Zhalanch (2920 m) - 6 hours. |

Day 5
|
Up along the valley , where you can meet nomads, to the Chon-Zhalanch
Pass (3450m). From the pass you can see wide panorama of peaks
and glaciers of the Central Tien Shan, descent to the Turuk
River valley - 6 hours. Camp in the headwaters of Turuk (3400m). |

Day 6
|
Up over nameless pass 3400 from which you can enjoy panorama
of the Central Tien Shan and Khan Tengri peak (7010m), descent
to the Saryzhas River valley and then up along the valley to
the Mintur River - 6 hours. Camp in the valley of the Mintur
River (3120m). |

Day 7
|
Up along the valley where yaks herds pasture, cross over Mintur
Pass (3714m) and descent along the valley of the Kokzhar River
to the confluence with the Dzhiak River - 6 hours. Camp on the
confluence (3150m). |

Day 8
|
Riding along Kokzhar River valley - 6 hours. Camp on the
rocky gates to the valley (2800 m). |
|
Day 9
|
Meeting with nomads. Visit to the
yurt. Riding along the river valley Karkara to Karkara BC -
4 hours. At leisure (sauna, bar). Camp (2200 m).

Day 10
|
Helicopter flight to the foothills of Khan Tengri Peak (7010
m) and Pobeda Peak (7349 m) - 3 hours. Transfer to Almaty (280km)
- 6 hours. Hotel.

|
Day 11
|
Excursion to the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments (including
folk performance) - 2 hours. Visit to the souvenir shops. Visit
to Shiberaul Village (village of the Artisans of the national
souvenirs). Dinner at the restaurant in a national style. Hotel.

Day 12
|
Transfer to the airport. Fly home.
