Riding on horseback across the semi-desert,
you have a chance to see monuments of ancient civilization, natural
phenomena and desert wildlife. Even within a few days you can enjoy
all of this. The route of this unusual horse-riding trip runs through
the scenic National Park Altyn-Emel. This unpopulated semi-desert
territory is surrounded from the north, by magnificent mountains
and from the south by the picturesque lakeside of Kapchagai Lake.
It still keeps the imprints of the ancient hunters and early nomads
of the Bronze Age epoch. The wildlife includes more than 5000 gazelles,
4000 ibex, 600 onagri, and numerous flocks of desert birds.
